Ice Cream

You can use this recipe by following the directions to an ice cream maker, but where is the fun in that?
Excuse the partially melted ice cream and the singular chocolate chip that made it's debut.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups heavy cream or half an half*
- 2 cups milk*
- 3/4 cup sugar
- Pinch of salt
- 3 cups ice
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Recipe:
- To a blender, add the ice. Crushed ice works best, but if you only have cubed ice, blend the ice for a few to break it up more.
- Add the sugar and the vanilla extract into the blender.
- Now add the milk and the heavy cream or half and half.
- Blend for one minute or until smooth.
- If you'd like to add any fruits, chocolate, or any other items, add now and blend if you would like.
- Transfer to a freezer safe container and freeze for 3 hours.
- Scoop out and enjoy!
Notes and things I learned along the way:
Using both half and half and heavy cream can make your ice cream thicker!
